foad farahani (1982- iran/ tehran) received his bachelor degree in visual communication at the
university of tehran, faculty of fine arts, 2008. then he continued his studies emancipated, and did
an ma. at the art university in 2011. he wrote his master’s thesis on light & space.
he has been working as a freelance designer for several magazines (ayeen, architecture &
urbanism) since 2003. besides graphic arts he is engaged with fine arts in the fields of drawing, painting,
sculpture and video and has shown his works in several exhibitions. foad farahani's field of interest
is somewhere between graphic and fine art.
